WALKING
By being located within the Burntolley Valley, the Ness Wood Glamping location provides easy access to extensive natural woodlands. These woodlands include Ness Wood, Ervey Wood and Burntollet Wood. These woodlands provide safe and accessible walks with riverside/woodland paths including wooden steps & footbridges, habitat of many different species of wildlife and birdlife. The site is also an ASSI and is NIEA owned and managed.

FISHING
For any visitors with an interest in fishing, Ness Wood Glamping is located less than ½ mile from the River Faughan. The River Faughan is a medium sized spate river, an important game fishery on the Foyle system, with significant runs of salmon and sea trout from June through to the end of the season. The River Faughan Anglers Ltd manages the fishing as an association water. The popular areas can be busy at times, but by offering over 20 miles of double bank fishing over the entire river system, there is plenty of fishing available for everyone.
As well as issuing season permits, visitors are also able to purchase single day, 3 day and 7 day / weekly permits to visiting anglers.

OUTDOOR PURSUITS
